Southern Fried Magazine Interview with Brian Chris Band
Inspiring Music Dedicated to Our Soldiers Serving in Iraq and Afghanistan
Bethpage Tribune - April 13-19, 2007
A very dynamic, courteous and didicated American Rock and Roll band has recently written and composed a CD recording dedicated to our soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan. The name of the band is "Brian Chris" and the title of the new CD is "Fight for the Cause." The music is awe inspiring and depitcts all of the problems associated with the battlefields and bouse to house fighting. War is hell and our soldiers are taking the full brunt of i. We at home recognize this and we support our troops as much as we can to help keep their morals high and their spirits bright.

The Brian Chris Band's home base is Tampa, Florida, however, their lead guitarist is Chuck Morrongiello, formerly from Bethpage, Long Island, New York. Chuck studies music at Five Towns College and performed in the early 80's with the "Strange Brew Band", which was considered the best rock and roll band in Long Island.

The links can be viewed by the public and the CD is reasonably priced. Mr. Fingers, account executive and the senior editor of the radio station WBAB-102.3FM (Rock and Roll) has set up a listening schedule allocated to the Brian Chris Band. Play time is as follows: April 13, Friday at 11:45pm and on April 16, Monday at 11:45pm, which will give the Brian Chris Band world wide listening capability.

This talented and dedicated band has indicated to the press that 100 CDs will be donated to the Veteran's Administration and U.S.O., who will arrange for shipment of the CD to our well deserved soldiers in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Although this story came to us at the Tribune lat in the day on Wednesday, we felt that although many will not receive it before the first airtime, it was certainly well deserving of the publicity. Best of luck to the "Brian Chris Band" and we commend them for keeping our troops in their hearts and minds through their music.
